“Being digital no longer makes the difference”

25 years creating and managing companies related to marketing and technology. From its beginnings in the world of advertising, first outdoors and then in-store, to its various adventures in the digital world, a sector in which it began more than 20 years ago.
Alberto Zunzunegui, however, does not like to be called an entrepreneur (even though all his companies are still active and “in reasonable health”). He says he needs to channel his concern and be able to bring value to his customers.

Last year Genetsis turned 20. How has the digital world evolved during these years and how has that evolution affected you?

It has evolved so much that it no longer makes sense to talk about the digital world but just the world. When we created Genetsis, the “digital” surname really qualified agencies, consultancies and any other service provider. Digital was so new that it was considered a specialization. Obviously it’s been a long time since that’s been the case…
